Volunteering

The Young Adults Disabled Association survives off the generosity of our volunteers who devote their time and efforts to working for us. For some, it is a great way to give back to the community, and for others it is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people. We are always looking for new volunteers to join who are interested in:

  • Supervising the disabled at our centre-based day care program
  • Driving buses and trucks
  • Sorting through second-hand clothing
  • Assisting with our recycling program
  • Running our second-hand goods stores

If you are interested in volunteering for YADA, do not hesitate to contact our office on (02) 9602 7808 for further information.

About Us

A local charity based in Liverpool, NSW that aims to provide social support for people with disabilities in the Liverpool and Fairfield local government areas. The social group meets twice a week to participate in activities that allow them to learn new skills, reduce their isolation, provide their carers with some time off, and enhance their quality of life.
