YADA welcomes the donations of clothing, knick-knacks and other household goods. We sell the goods so that we can raise funds for our Social Support program. Things that we accept include:
- wearable clothing and footwear
- books in readable condition
- unstained linen
- furniture in good condition
Unfortunately, items that are broken, stained or damaged are unable to be accepted, unless they are recyclable, as we do not have the capacity to repair items.
To make or enquire about a donation, call the office on (02) 9602 7808.
You can also drop off donations at 10 Anderson Avenue, Liverpool from Monday to Friday between 8am and 3pm.
We kindly ask that you do not drop off donations at our second-hand stores out of hours as people go through donations or set fire to them, which has previously burnt through our shops.
A local charity based in Liverpool, NSW that aims to provide social support for people with disabilities in the Liverpool and Fairfield local government areas. The social group meets twice a week to participate in activities that allow them to learn new skills, reduce their isolation, provide their carers with some time off, and enhance their quality of life.
The Young Adults Disabled Association survives off the generosity of our volunteers who devote their time and efforts to working for us. For some, it is a great way to give back to the community, and for others it is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people.
